Earlier this month, Maria Shriver filed for divorce from Arnold Schwarzenegger six weeks after the world first learned of his infidelity.
In the divorce filing, Shriver cites irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce. The divorce filing does not indicate if Shriver and Schwarzenegger signed a prenuptial agreement before marrying in 1986.
Shriver is looking to obtain spousal support from her husband. In addition, although property is generally distributed equally in California, Schwarzenegger has said that he would like to give Shriver more than 50 percent of their assets.
Sources say the only detail of the divorce settlement that has been decided is that Schwarzenegger will keep their family home in Brentwood, California.
