Cheyenne Van Leeuwen
Attorney
Brief Biography
For Cheyenne, family law is a personal matter. Drawing from her childhood experience, she knows that her clients are going through what could be described as the most emotional, stressful, and overwhelming part of their lives. Keeping that in mind, Cheyenne emphasizes transparent communication, maintaining a high level of empathy, and tempering expectations.
Though she was born and raised in Fayetteville, North Carolina, Cheyenne has considered the Raleigh/Durham area home since she left Fayetteville after high school. Cheyenne’s mother works in the IT field at Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC), and her father is retired from the Army.
Cheyenne’s passion has always been family law, but it took her a few years after starting her career to get there. She currently lives in Raleigh with her Army Reservist boyfriend, Adam. When she’s not working, you can find her at CrossFit, reading with her book club, spending time with her friends and family, or furiously searching the internet for a new recipe to try her hand at.
