Teen Mom 2’s Jenelle Evans files for divorce after mandatory separation time

MTV’s Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has filed for divorce to end her 16-month marriage to Courtland Rogers a year after they were both arrested for heroin possession, entertainment news source Radar Online reported on May 2.

Evans and Rogers were legally separated for a year, fulfilling the required time before a person can petition for a divorce in North Carolina. Evans filed the divorce papers on Friday, May 2 in Brunswick County and paid the $225 fee. Evans and Rogers were married in a courthouse ceremony in 2012. Rogers served time in prison last year for the drug possession charge. Evans is currently pregnant with her new boyfriend Nathan Griffin’s child. The child is expected to be delivered in June.
