50 Cent pleads not guilty in domestic violence case

Rapper 50 Cent pleaded not guilty to charges of domestic violence and vandalism that were filed against him by model Daphne Navarez, according to an August 5 report from The Los Angeles Times. 50 Cent is currently facing one count of domestic violence and four counts of vandalism that stemmed from an incident in Toluca Lake last June 23.

50 Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, remained quiet during a hearing in Van Nuys. Jackson was ordered by the court not to get in touch with and stay away from Navarez.  The rapper’s lawyer said his client denies all the allegations that were filed against him. Jackson will be back in court for a pretrial on September 4.
