Country music singer and musician, Rodney Atkins, filed for divorces from his wife, Tammy Jo Atkins, after allegations of domestic violence were made last month by Tammy Jo.

Court records have revealed that Tammy Jo made a 911 emergency call on Nov 21 claiming that Atkins was drunk and attempted to smother her with a pillow.  It also states that Atkins grabbed her face and threw her down the hallway while their 10 year old son, Elijah, was watching.
