Frowning Linked to Divorce

A recent study linked frowning to higher divorce rates. The study was carried out at DePaux University in Indiana. In a study of 655 yearbook pictures, the researchers found that people with stronger smiles generally had a lower divorce rate than others.

The study concluded that the top 10% of the people with stronger smiles had a divorce rate of 5.5% while the bottom ten percent had a divorce rate of 27%. However there is a great deal that factors into any marriage that goes well beyond smiling.
