Divorce Case Leads into Homeschooling Rights

In a recent North Carolina divorce case, a judge has asked a mother to take her three children out of home school and send them to public school in the fall. This order comes on the tail of the divorce proceedings of that mother and the father.

The father and his attorneys have attested that the mother has done well with the children's home schooling. However, they have also said that the father will not pay any additional home schooling costs. This has caused outrage among home schoolers across the state, afraid of what this might mean for the rest of them and what effects divorce might have on children's education.
