Sister and Husband to Share Custody of Slain Mother’s Child

A shared custody agreement was reached this Friday between Jason Young and Meredith Fisher, the respective husband and sister of a pregnant woman killed in 2006.

Cassidy Young, who was two years-old at the time of her mother's death and had been living with her father, will now be in the primary care of her aunt. Jason Young will see his daughter on select weekends, over summers, and on birthdays and holidays.

Although never officially a suspect in the yet-unsolved criminal case, Young was found guilty of his wife's murder in a civil suit in December of last year.
