Divorce Has Dropped with Recession

Lawyers across America are reporting a drop in the amount of clients that they are seeing for divorce.  This drop in the number of couples filing for a divorce is the  mark of a new trend in the recession.

Some people have stated that during a recession,  more people will seek a divorce.  This recession is proving a little different with more people staying together.  One of the major driving factors was that the housing market has lost quite a bit of value.  This loss in value has caused the couples assets to be a lot less.  Many individuals may feel that it simply wouldn't be worth it to get a divorce.

Almost anyone would agree that individuals should not be in a relationship that is unfulfilling. It will cause more problems in the long term if the only reason a couple stays together is the recession and a fear of future uncertainty.
