New Bill May Ask Parents to Stay in Same Community After Divorce

A new bill is being proposed in the senate that would encourage divorcing parents to stay close together after all the paperwork is done, making joint custody easier.

In many cases, the court will favor joint custody. This bill would make that ruling easier than it might have been in the past. However, not all divorces would be subject to this new bill.
